A personal utility operated by Ken Fields to back up and restore his workstation files using his Google Drive account.
How it works
The utility runs on the owner's computer. It uses restic to encrypt backup contents before upload and rclone to transfer the encrypted repository to Google Drive. It can download repository files to verify backups and restore data.
Google Drive access
Google authorization allows the utility to create, read, update, and delete the specific Drive files and folders it creates or that the owner explicitly authorizes for this app. These operations support backup creation, restoration, and retention management.
